Lexical Errors Produced by High And Low Proficiency Learners of Writing 2 Classes

This study was conducted to find out the types of lexical errors that high and low proficiency learners produced in their writing, differences similarities from production two groups. To answer research questions, writers used theory by James (2013) about error classification. a qualitative study. The sources data this were 32 writing drafts. divided students into groups: eight level level. findings showed five formal four semantic errors, while six errors. In conclusion, learners’ productions are due lack knowledge sense relation collocation, wrong terms near-synonyms production.Keywords: learners, analysis
